Because of the efficient nature of Mobile Steam Distillation, it provides significant cost savings versus other forms of remediation. Treated soil can either be returned to the site, saving all disposal and transportation costs, or taken to a Subtitle D landfill rather than to a more costly Subtitle C landfiill or incinerator.
